Only day tickets and half day tickets are available in the 2008/2009 season, that are exclusively valid at the Rendl skiing region. These ski passes are only available at the ticket offices of the Rendl skiing region.

Ski Shuttle Service

Gloriously glittering white mountainsides, sapphire sky and crisp mountain air - buckle on your skis and enjoy pure delight racing down the slopes. The Arlberg ski region comprises more than 260 kilometres of perfectly prepared ski pistes, including 93 gentle kilometres of downhill skiing for beginners and families, a special Cyber Area for carvers and challenging steep slopes and high alpine ski tours. Freeriders will rejoice in the prospect of 180 kilometres of pristine powder snow and firn snow slopes.

The private ski shuttle service of the wellness & spa resort Hotel Gridlon will take you to the cable cars of the Galzig and Gampenbahn in St. Anton every 15 minutes in winter – the ride takes only 8 minutes, leaving all day for fun in the snow! The ski buses take you to the west terminal opposite the sports outfitters Jennewein in St. Anton between 8:30 and 11:30 everyday, where they will also pick you up between 15:00 and 17:00.

Find out about the public transport ski bus to St. Anton, the direct connection to Zürs from the west terminal at St. Anton by public service vehicle (subject to a charge) and the comfortable ski shuttle service between the ski lifts of the Valfagehrbahn and Zürs.

Ski pass Service

The staff members at Hotel Gridlon will gladly provide ski passes for you. Please inform the team at reception of your wishes regarding to ski passes up until 9pm on the evening before. The ski pass will grant you access to the excellent slopes of the Arlberg winter sports region.

The winter sports regions of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs and Lech huddle around the majestic Arlberg massif in Austria. The natural high reliability of snow is due to the high-alpine location and additional artificial snowmaking facilities create excellent conditions on the skiing slopes. Free ski and ski boot depot in St. Anton

The team at the Hotel Gridlon will gladly assist you in organising your winter holidays – from ski passes to the free ski and ski boot depot. Once upon a time skiers had to trudge around in heavy ski boots before conquering the pistes. Now the Gridlon shuttle service will take you to the west terminal in St. Anton in your walking shoes. From there you will conveniently reach the Intersport-Arlberg branch store Bergschlössl, right next to the Galzig cable car station. Your pre-booked depot and an extensive rental service will be available from 8.00 to 19.30 every day.

Exclusive ski maintenance service

The sports outfitters Matt in Pettneu offer a special service to all guests of Hotel Gridlon: your skis and snow boards are collected at the Hotel Gridlon and will be returned to you after an extensive maintenance service the same evening. This service (polishing of the steel edges, application of ski wax) is available at Euro 22,-. The sports outfitters Matt offer an advantage card to all guests of Hotel Gridlon, with a 10% discount on shopping purchases.

Racing down the snowy slopes, getting a tan in the mountain sun and enjoying the awe-inspiring mountain panorama: that is your dream of winter. Fear not if you haven't had the opportunity yet to learn skiing or snowboarding! Help is at hand at the Hotel Gridlon during your winter holidays: the team at Hotel Gridlon will gladly assist you in finding the right ski school in the Arlberg winter sports region, where under the expert tutelage of experienced trainers you will quickly learn skiing and snowboarding. You are very welcome to book a private skiing instructor for faster progress at winter sports.

Even the youngest will quickly be experts of the wedeling technique - at the ski schools of Pettneu, St. Anton and Arlberg children are playfully introduced to the delights of skiing. Many ski schools offer a special childcare programme in addition: your “fleas on skis” will have fun with other children, leaving you to explore the challenging pistes without having to worry.

Plunge into the powder snow with professional skiing instructors from the ski schools. The ski guides will make sure that you always find the perfect slope at the perfect time: wide, open slopes and a fantastic view of the mountains. Heliskiing and Heliboarding

Snowy summits as far as the eye can see; a feeling of utter happiness courses through your body. Feel like the king or queen of the mountain and experience something special and unique: heliskiing and heliboarding in the Arlberg massif in Austria.
Fly to the majestic peaks of the Mehlsack (2,652 metres) or Schneetäli mountains (2,450 metres). The destination of this impressive one-hour ski run is the wildly romantic tributary valley Zug at Lech.

Cool fun park for snowboarders

On the sunny side of St. Anton a true El Dorado is waiting for snowboarders – the fun park at the Rendl mountain in the Arlberg region. 10 barriers in total, including Pro Jumps, Washboard, Table Top, Slides and Fun Box guarantee unrestricted fun and adventure on snowboards. To ensure a fair share of fun for everyone, the motivated members of staff keep the fun park in a perfect state with cutting-edge technology the entire winter. Experience 100% fun on the slopes: 70% of the slopes are prepared for high speed, 15% are gentle slopes perfectly suited for beginners. The longest piste for boarders is the 9 kilometres of the Riffl-course down into the valley. You start at 2,650 metres and race down to your goal at 1,350 metres.
