During the family winter at the Tyrolean top-hotel Gridlon there is plenty of fun for everyone: while the grown ups whizz down the slopes or relax at the Gridlon Beauty Spa, the kids have unbridled fun at the hotel's own childcare facility or at a ski school.

There is no better way: while you are enjoying a day of your wonderful winter holidays on the skiing slopes in the bright sun shine,
plunging into the fresh powder snow, the little ones are well looked after at the Kindergarten of the 4 star Hotel Gridlon and
eating specially catered delicious food. An affectionate nanny cares for the little guests (3 years or older) free of charge,
plays with them or provides a varied programme for children. Your kids will love it! And if the weather should not allow for
fun in the snow, , then there’s painting, handicrafts, games and, and, and... in Pippi Longstocking’s cottage.

The childcare service at Hotel Gridlon is available during the holiday season from December 26th 2008 until January 6th 2009 and again in from April 4th 2009 until April 18th 2009. Child care at the ski school Arlberg.

whizz down the slopes of the Arlberg region without having to worry. Your “fleas on skis” will have tremendous fun at
skiing lessons at the Arlberg ski school. Very soon they will race down the pistes like the pros. If the little ones should ever
need you, you are close by. Nip over to the little downhill racers opposite the Gampenbahn cable car any time to watch their progress.
At the “Children's World” of the Arlberg ski school or at special children's restaurants your kids are being served
delicious lunch meals, before you pick them up again.
SKI KINDERGARTEN
For children of 2.5 years and up - everyday from 9am to 4pm at the “Children's World St. Anton” opposite the Gampenbahn cable car station. To enable parents who love skiing to bring their children on their winter holidays, the ski school offers the special ski kindergarten. Trained kindergarten teachers will care for your young ones. Skiing is no issue at this age.
BAMBINI
The great programme for children at the “Children's World St. Anton” opposite the Gampenbahn cable car station. Duration: 10am until noon. Skiing courses start every Monday.
Here the “bambini” experience an exciting blend of skiing, playing and children's animation and venture their first steps on skis with enthusiasm. Children who are on skis for the first time become playfully acquainted with the joys of the skiing slopes.
Minimum number of participants: 4 children per group
Size of the group: approximately 6 children per group
MINI SPECIAL
Having fun learning how to ski: during the skiing course watch your children become true downhill racing champions! At the “Children's Worlds” at St. Anton (opposite the Gampenbahn cable car station), Nasserein and St. Christoph the young ones meet their children's ski instructor every day at 9:30. Duration: 10am until noon. Skiing courses start every Monday. There are plenty of breaks during the individual skiing lessons. Funny games make it a pleasure to get back to skiing again.
Skiing courses for beginners start every Monday and Sunday
Duration: 4 hours per day
Minimum number of participants: 4 children per group
Group size: approximately 7 children per group
Skiing courses for children
Jamboree on skis is available for all five year olds and younger kids who already know how to ski, at skiing courses for children. Meeting points are the assembly areas of the “Children's Worlds” of the individual ski schools of the Arlberg region, where the young ones are divided into the right groups, to improve their skiing skills in a playful way.
Skiing courses for beginners start every Monday and Sunday
Duration: 4 hours per day
The programme for a week at the Arlberg ski school comprises 3 theme days:
the Hoppl Active Day, the Snowman Day and the Crazy Face Day.
There is a weekly downhill race for children with a presentation of prizes, raffle and aprés ski for children.
The AlpineSki Garden with the latest conveyor (SunKid) turns the lessons into an adventure. All included in the ski school price.

Baby-sitting service
To enable the grown ups to enjoy some time on their own skiing and snowboarding or relaxing at the wellness & spa area
of the Hotel Gridlon, members of staff at the hotel will gladly organise a babysitter for you (approximately € 15 per hour).
Small children mean lots of luggage! To save you unnecessary packing, Hotel Gridlon can lend you the most important things for children:
child seat, cot, baby monitor, three-wheel all-terrain stroller and toboggan. For our smallest guests: baby changing mat, baby bath,
bottle warmer. A comprehensive service for your wellbeing – holidays with your loved ones will be tremendous fun!
Teens
Besides fun on the slopes skiing and snowboarding on the pistes of the Arlberg region in Austria, many exciting activities
are waiting for teens at the Hotel Gridlon. Have a cool game of pool or snooker at the billiards club with Play Station.
Enjoy a match of table football or ping pong – there will be no time for boredom!
